B. Dolan
B. Dolan
B. Dolan is an explosive, confrontational hip-hop lyricist and performer from Providence, RI who first came on the scene in 2008. Starting with a lo-fi, apocalyptic concept record titled “The Failure,” Dolan floored listeners with tracks that were at turns personal, poetic, sweeping and strange. Years ahead of it’s time stylistically, it was released by Sage Francis’ Strange Famous imprint, where fans began slowly gravitating to the album and to Dolan’s intense live performances. One of those fans, producer Alias, would become the sole collaborator on Dolan’s 2010 follow up “Fallen House, Sunken City”, an underground rap opus that was praised by critics and fans alike, cementing Dolan’s place in the landscape.

Turning to hip-hop’s favorite unofficial format to explore different styles and experiment, Dolan then released a three part mixtape series titled “House of Bees vols. 1-3” Political mixtape tracks like “Film the Police,” “Which Side Are You On?” and “The Devil is Alive” would become some of the rapper’s biggest anthems, while an exhaustive worldwide tour schedule won an army of fans for the unlikely bearded emcee from the Northeast.

in 2015, Dolan upped the ante yet again by self-producing “KILL THE WOLF”, an entire LP with a cast of over 30 musicians, vocalists and beatmakers. This 5-year opus in the making reinforces Dolan’s status as a complex lyricist and introduces him as a ambitious, versatile producer who’s dedicated as ever to vision and concept over fleeting hip-hop trends. “Kill The Wolf” features contributions from a diverse group of peers that included Kathleen Stubelek of the hardcore act Circle Takes the Square, Dave Lamb from Brown Bird, Buck 65 and Aesop Rock.

Since his signing to SFR, Dolan has toured exhaustively and internationally to win himself a devoted cult following. So far his continually shapeshifting presentation, outsider perspective, and masterful execution have kept them coming back. KILL THE WOLF TOUR 2016 is B. Dolan’s first headlining tour of North America. It begins this March and will continue throughout the year.
Dj Abilities
Dj Abilities
Billy Freekin Dee. In the beginning… there were turntables on a hardwood floor. DJ'ing for the first six months was done on the ground with a case of beer. Eventually he got a table a mpc and better. With this betterness he was able to release 2 mixtapes, produce 4 full length albums, win 2 DMC's and play hundreds of shows. He is now combining all of these experiences together to create one performance that you can dance to or sit back and enjoy. or hate. Dj Abilities for 2011.
Analog Dive
Analog Dive
Hawaii born emcee Analog Dive was one of Hawaii’s best kept secrets, until he set foot on the mainland. He got his first taste of performing mostly freestyle sets, which was how he met Behasa, a friendship instrumental in production of Analog Dive’s first album “Fineprint”. An album that was nearly two years in the making, and features guest appearances from Mac Lethal, and local Hawaii emcees Splinta The Rat and Southern Cumiford. Born and raised on the Big Island he is no stranger to the ocean, a recurring theme throughout his early work. Blake’s unorthodox flow, at times harmonious, at others articulately rushed, mimics the same unpredictability of the ocean, no doubt a direct reflection of the love and appreciation for his Hawaiian and family roots. One can feel the emotion that comes with leaving a place of such beauty, familiarity and family in order to pursue his dream of reaching a much larger audience in Los Angeles California where he now resides. It was not long before he found himself a new family of creative individuals who shared his love for artistic expression and the Aloha spirit he exudes. 2011 marked a great beginning for Analog Dive, organizing and promoting LA Got Aloha and Ohana Tree. These events have grown from that first warehouse tucked away on Jefferson Blvd in Los Angeles to now making their home in Hollywood. LA Got Aloha celebrated its first year anniversary in 2012 with a sold out venue. People lined up at the 2012 Ohana Tree where he released the much-anticipated “Happy Endings” EP which sold all printed copies that night. The success of these events made it possible for Analog Dive to open up for Eligh of Living Legends, and to freestyle onstage with Chali 2na of Jurassic 5 at events that he himself organized. LA Got Aloha and Ohana Tree entail more than just musical performances. They are outlets for painters, photographers, chefs, lyricists, and DJ’s whom he works with tirelessly to ensure that they too have an opportunity to share their unique passions and perspectives. A truly humble artist, Analog Dive strives to reach the top, not by stepping over others but by collectively lifting each other up through collaborative efforts, the guiding principle behind every event, album, EP, or creative endeavor he is a part of.
FreeWill
FreeWill
FreeWill (real name William Merle) is an L.A.-area hip-hop artist hailing from Hawaii’s Big Island. Currently an artist and label rep for Rising Sons Independent (RSI) Records, he’s been working closely with Analog Dive for the past two years.

Merle knew while growing up in Hawaii, where he’s been writing since the age of fifteen, that moving to California would afford him the opportunity to grow a rap career he knew could be stifled by the laid-back island lifestyle by which he was surrounded. After arriving here in 2010 and couch-surfing for the year that followed, Merle settled in Los Angeles and studied at the renowned Musician’s Institute in Hollywood, CA. Through their Independent Artist program, he learned the ins and outs of recording, perfecting his sound and technique, and how to market himself in a cutthroat business in a city where everyone is trying to be a someone.

The self-described “conscious hip-hop artist” lists Eminem and Immortal Technique as influences and inspiration in his own music. Eminem’s fearlessness in “putting his emotions on the page” mixed with intricate wordplay and Immortal Technique’s “political stance” are qualities to which he aspires as an artist and qualities which are already evident in his craft. Merle’s fresh voice, unique style, and ability to manipulate the right words in the right way are hard to ignore. Expect all of this and more with the release of his EP later this year. His message is honest and blunt; gritty, bitter truth, served up with a dose of hopeful wisdom. It’s clear he’s not just rapping for the sake of rhyming, but for the definitive desire to inspire people to “break their mental prison, think for themselves, and not just eat what’s fed to them.”

Although FreeWill is relatively new to the Los Angeles scene, he has been blessed with the opportunity to open up for veterans of hip-hop such as Pigeon John, Chali 2na of Jurassic 5, and Eligh of Living Legends, a performance he calls the highlight of his career so far. Driven by the success of performances like this, Merle presses forward as FreeWill rapping his way into the consciousness of the public with his talent, passion, and drive. Look forward to his growth in the scene as a hip-hop maven RSI is proud to count among their roster of artists.
