There is nothing Bootie loves more than the musical culture-clash that mashups make possible. And nowhere is that more evident than in mashups that mix and mash music from the ‘50s, ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s, ‘90s, ‘00s, and NOW -- paying homage to the originals while keeping the music fresh, in order to create brand-new music that you’ve almost, but not quite, heard before! Resident DJ ShyBoy is joined by Bootie co-founder Mysterious D as they spin the mashups that makes your booties bump! Plus resident dance crew R.A.I.D. gives you multi-decade dance madness, and Shutter Tribe will be there to capture it all! All this, plus free Bootie mashup CDs for the first 50 people through the door!

Launched in 2003 by San Francisco DJ duo A Plus D, Bootie was the first club night dedicated solely to the then-burgeoning bootleg mashup scene -- and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with parties in cities across the globe. Winning various nightlife awards for the past 13 years, Bootie celebrates pop culture both past and present, keeping your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations, providing the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation.

Shyboy
ShyBoy is a singer/songwriter, producer and DJ/mashup artist. The Huffington Post notes that he "casts a fresh, intelligent spell over the indie pop landscape." BuzzBands.LA says his versatility is "wonderfully dramatic." Sinewy rhythms and bold sonic colors surround his deftly melodic vocals. ShyBoy has had numerous music placements, including ABC's Super Fun Night, CW's America's Next Top Model and the multiplatinum Capcom video game The Devil May Cry 4. He's also remixed tracks for iconic artists such as Donna Summer, Beyoncé and Whitney Houston and collaborated with numerous writers and artists including SlimKid3 of The Pharcyde, RuPaul (RuPaul's Drag Race), Emmy-winning composer Jim Dooley, Grammy-winning songwriter Allee Willis and TV producer Bryan Fuller (Hannibal).
R.A.I.D. (Random Acts of Irreverent Dance)
R.A.I.D. is Random Acts of Irreverent Dance, a performance collective with a mission: to promote body positivity, manifest radical inclusivity, foster creative empowerment & exhibit playful irreverence, through dance-based performance.

Combining free-form dance with choreographed pieces, tailor-made for each performance opportunity, R.A.I.D. brings a constantly evolving sense of vitality to the stage, one glitter-soaked dance at time. Along the way, we’ve danced with some of the biggest names in electronic music, such as David Guetta, Benny Benassi, Kaskade, and Jack Ü (Diplo/Skrillex); with Los Angeles based alternative bands Mini Mansions, Fever The Ghost, and LA Font; and at massive events such as Desert Daze, Electric Daisy Carnival, Nocturnal Wonderland, HARD Summer, San Diego Comic-Con, and E3 (for Ubisoft). We have been the resident dance crew at Bootie LA for eight years, performing every Saturday. In 2013, we were a featured act on “America’s Got Talent”.
