BOOTIE LA: April Fools’ Party w/ Dosvec

It’s Bootie LA’s first April Fools’ Party! Will special guest DJ DOSVEC from Boston really be joining Tiesto -- and SF’s Adrian A -- on the decks? Will Beyoncé make it in time to jump in with R.A.I.D. on the go-go boxes? Be sure to check out the pool party on the rooftop of Los Globos, and don’t forget, it’s free entry all night if you show up dressed as a medieval court jester! (Hey, that last one is probably no April Fools’ joke!) Only $5 before 10 PM!

It’s Bootie LA’s first April Fools’ Party! Direct from Boston, Bootie LA is proud to present special guest DJ DOSVEC -- no foolin’! Called “the Mashup Monster” by the New York Post, DOSVEC has had numerous mashups appear on the HypeMachine Top 10. But at the end of the day, he just wants to make people’s rump shake! Also appearing for an all-mashup set will be Tiesto, while Daft Punk makes a special appearance by the trash fence and Adrian A helps hold down the room! Beyoncé joins R.A.I.D. for a special Lemonade-inspired go-go performance -- if she makes it in time -- while David Hasselhoff helps Marky Makeup do airbrush tattoos, and Shutter Tribe captures all the fun! Plus, anyone dressed as a medieval court jester gets in free all night! Really, probably!

Launched in 2003 by San Francisco DJ duo A Plus D, Bootie was the first club night dedicated solely to the then-burgeoning bootleg mashup scene -- and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with parties in cities across the globe. Winning various nightlife awards for the past 13 years, Bootie celebrates pop culture both past and present, keeping your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations, providing the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation.

For all Bootie parties worldwide:
"If you aren't dancing, I'm not doing my job" - DOSVEC

DOSVEC has been taking the mash up world by storm with a music catalog that boasts hundreds of unique mash ups that are straight hits.

DOSVEC separates himself from other producers in his category by his track selection and orchestrating all his mash ups in key. Mash ups are more than just putting two or more tracks together, they should sound as if two or more artists came together to create a masterpiece; this is where DOSVEC comes in.

Top 40/Rock/Hip Hop/Electro/Dubstep? Yup DOSVEC Got That

Traveling across many different genres makes DOSVEC a cross genre artist and looking out to the crowd that rages to his sound you will find this out real quick. His projects, to mention a few, includes two full length hip hop/rock/top 40 mash up albums, EDM mash up albums, and even a full Dubstep album that included an 80min intensive visual experience of the mashed up music's music videos.

DOSVEC is Simply Internet Gold!

DOSVEC's Youtube views are reaching the 2 million mark and his blog support is simply amazing. See it for yourself, a simple Google search will show you that the world truly loves the DOSVEC sound.

DOSVEC is also no stranger to major press. DOSVEC has been reviewed by the NY Post, MTV, and countless other popular music / pop culture websites.
R.A.I.D. (Random Acts of Irreverent Dance)
R.A.I.D. is Random Acts of Irreverent Dance, a performance collective with a mission: to promote body positivity, manifest radical inclusivity, foster creative empowerment & exhibit playful irreverence, through dance-based performance.

Combining free-form dance with choreographed pieces, tailor-made for each performance opportunity, R.A.I.D. brings a constantly evolving sense of vitality to the stage, one glitter-soaked dance at time. Along the way, we’ve danced with some of the biggest names in electronic music, such as David Guetta, Benny Benassi, Kaskade, and Jack Ü (Diplo/Skrillex); with Los Angeles based alternative bands Mini Mansions, Fever The Ghost, and LA Font; and at massive events such as Desert Daze, Electric Daisy Carnival, Nocturnal Wonderland, HARD Summer, San Diego Comic-Con, and E3 (for Ubisoft). We have been the resident dance crew at Bootie LA for eight years, performing every Saturday. In 2013, we were a featured act on “America’s Got Talent”.
